"I enjoyed your first issue! I read every article, please keep up the good work!"

"How much does it cost for a one year subscription and where do i find it on newstands in seattle area?"

"Your cobra 200 review is rite on time. I just wanted to give you a insight on why the radio is blowing up. The regulator in this radio is not enough for its output power, especially if it is tuned up. Also the radio will only achieve 95% modulation and most people will try to compensate by adding a power mic. So this gives another problem with the mosfet final in this radio, mosfets do not hold distortion very well and power mics do give off some distortion so now finals are blowing. This is something to keep your eye on in the future scents 2sc1969 & 2cs2166 finals are not being made any more and mosfets are being made to replace them. Just an opinion of mine but I don’t see mosfet finals being a good replacement for CBrs that like loud audio."

"Thanks  for  another  GREAT  issue !  Keep ‘em coming !  I  am  telling  my  radio BUDS  out  there  about  the  mag  &  I  wish  you   much  success.  How  can  I  help you  succeed ? "

"I just read your dipole article. I live in Hawaii and have the same problem so this may be a good antenna. Good website also. Keep up the good work, I enjoy reading your web magazine!  Lots of good stuff here.  Thanks!"

"Hello  Folks. In  the  future,   if  possible , I  would like  to  see  an  article   on   No-ground  CB  antennas.  I  only  know  of   a  few   available  :   Wilson, Firestick,  Everhardt,  and  Shakespeare .  I  think  the  Shakes   may  only  be  a  Marine  type  antenna.  Thanks  for  the  mag,  I  enjoy  the  issues  as  soon  as  they  come  out. "

"Great article on the 4 antennas was like I asked the question and got a great answer."

"First of all I like to say thanks for a very good magazine. Very nice
with the video reviews. Keep up the good work,73's"

"I found this site the other night and find really informative in what I have seen so far. My roommate and I are both into CBing and are trying to get as much information as possible. We would like to be able to one day have the knowledge to work on our own radios and other radios."

"I read your magazine all the time and I want you to know how much I
appreciate it!  Please keep up the great work!"

"I really like what you are doing with the site."

"THANKS !!!! You guys have an awesome website"

"I love this site....keep it up bro"

"Just read a post on Copper forums announcing your magazine so I decided to do a Google search and here I am. Just wanted to say nice rag. It's really nice to see some solid articles about the hobby. In your article "Could a decline in Cb'ers be a good thing" reminded me that CB is turning back into radio hobbyists, not just a fad or a way for people to do the "in" thing. Normal decent conversation is becoming the rule. It's kind of neat to see Monkey made antennas- I would've killed for one in the late 80's or a Dave Made. The tinkering to improve the hobby has come such a long way. I am now a Ham ( a class extra hammie ..lol) and spend the majority of my time there, but recently blew the dust of the old CB rig, and meet a group on 36 lsb.The hams I know aren't so prejudice and even are wowed at the 80kw mobiles that come to the line at keydowns- you have to respect a vehicle that can generate that much power if nothing else. Anyway, it's been nice reading your articles I will check back to see what's new. Keep up the good work...73"

"Hello, was reading your page today. Good information, nice to see there is some CB life out there."

"Hello, my name is Jesse and I'd like to tell you that I'm very impressed with the website. I do enjoy the hobby and honestly think that the website is the best out there. It really helps the newcomers when you run across informative and well put together websites. Keep up the good work and I'll be looking for the next installment!. "

"Thanks for your magazine, I did CB sales and repair for 27 years. I was in CB before that. Your magazine has me thinking about getting back to it for fun only. Where I live I cannot put up an antenna, so your story about the Bazooka was very interesting. If you believe in it I just may give go."

"Thank you again for all the help & info."

"Mission accomplished! I was able to trace the two wires from the RF Gain (stacked center knob in the 29 WX NW ST) by cutting the nylon wire ties loose and pulling slack as you suggested. Thanks for all the help. I enjoy your magazine very much."

"I did the frequency mod on the Cobra 200GTL DX last nite that you mentioned in your review of  the Cobra 200 GTL DX…and everything you said about “tiny” was not an exaggeration !  However, the mod works great, and I didn’t have to ship it off somewhere for two weeks! Thanks guys…now I feel like I can accomplish anything!"

"Thanks so much for your web site, got a great deal of info from it. I am an old CBer at heart and it brought back a lot of memories of when I had my little shop in the Garage and use to repair a the CBs around where I lived for my friends"

"Hey,,,, good to have you back. Thanks for all your work and "Love" for CB. I still love it too, I had an electronics store for 23 years sale and service. Selling TV's, etc., was OK, but CB's repair and sales was keeping the door open, and the fun in day to day life of a Mom and Pop shop. (mostly Pop). Thanks again."

"Love this web site would love to know more about the hr2510 mods"

"Hey i love the website! Do you have any plans of doing a write up about how to install say a roger beep or echo board. Im looking for info on how to install either, and you really make it easy with your articles with pictures and stuff!"

"Your site it the best CB/Ham radio site I have seen. The information is good and the topics are great! Very interesting indeed. Vote the best by me!"

"Hi there I read your articles every time a new issue comes out. Thanks for any help you can give me and keep up the good work."

"To CB Magazine, well the November issue was another Hit in my book, It is great.  I have a new Cobra 148GTL and love it, the transmit is a lot tighter than a 1980 148GTL. I now own a Magnum S-45 and I agree with the assessment of it that's in your magazine. Should be receiving a new Cobra 200GTL rev 2 on Monday and will see what that’s all about.  In the old day I helped a friend who use to sell a lot of CBs and would buy them by the cases. I would do a simple tune and check on them before they were sold and every once in a while we would get a radio that would be hands down better than the average radio, now in the new radios, they seem to be more uniform in quality and the specs are a tighter. In the case of my Cobra 148GTL it uses a better matched speaker to the radio and for me there is no need to use an extension speaker with my radio. Well THANKS AGAIN from myself and I am sure a lot more of the CBers out here."

"My name is brandon  from Louisiana.  i am just getting started in the cb talking world and wanted you to know that i found your articles to be quite awesome reading.  i thought they were informational and gave me some great tips that could save me alot of bucks in the future.  just wondering, why the break in issues?  can't wait for the next one.P.S. i fall into the #3 category.  my girlfriend hates the whole cb thing."

"Hey I really enjoy your website."

"Hello.  I started 2 1/2 years ago working on cb radios.  I began my working knowledge of two way communications in the Navy and in the Civililian world working on airplanes as an electrician and avionics technician.  I started out 2 years ago learning citizen band radios from Lou Franklin's books, "The Screwdrivers Expert's Guide" and "Understanding & Repairing CB Radios For the Professional Technician.  I am currently a truck driver full-time and run my cb shop part-time.  The main reason I decided to work on radios is that I got tired of being ripped off by cb techs who didn't perform the work they claimed to, and there is a high demand for and deficiency of skilled technicians in this field.  I pride myself on being honest with customers and doing quality work.  I hope to one day be one of the best technicians out here, but I have a long, long way to go and a lot of knowledge to soak in.  That is why I am so glad to have found your website.  I was reading in Lou's Book that CB Radio Magazine had came back into production, but that information was from back in 1996.  Is your magazine / website associated with the company that produced it, CQ Communications Inc.?  Are you solely a web based publication, or will your magazine be coming into print?  Thank you for the great website and information.  I look forward to learning all I can from you."

"HI this is the one and only 504 down in Carlsbad NM iv been on the radio for 20 years last year was very tuff for me my back gave out then I had to get rid of my tower 5/8s ground plane and all of the rest of my equipment due to family trouble but im hoping some time soon ill be back on the air and im happy that there's still a cb radio mag out there"

"Great website… the only problem…when you die so does the website/magazine.  I assume this website is maintained by one individual, and when this individual can’t do it, or doesn’t want to do it anymore, this source of info will go way. Do it for as long as you can. Nice CB site."
