Radio Shack Realistic TRC-459 CB Radio Overview

This radio is somewhat rare, mostly because a lot of them didn’t stick around in working condition due to the unique slider controls which were broken or suffered from spills or corrosion over the years.

The radio works fairly well for functions and RX/TX and it had some advanced featured for it’s day including the direct entry keypad and scanning abilities. There was also a mobile version with some of these functions as well.
